ILV - Goodbye for now
Sorry for not putting this update up for awhile but I wanted to sit with the idea for awhile. In short, ILV is podfading for now. It may take only five minutes to record an episode but it was taking 30-40 minutes/day to get it online. I now have a job with an office and everything. When I get home at night after a day of podcasting (it’s what I do for a living), I can’t find it in me to put another half an hour into ILV.
I’d like to thank everyone who listened and particularly everyone who ever sent an email or commented. Unless you’re a podcaster yourself, you can’t know how much those messages mean to podcasters.
Thank you

Steven and gang,
I cannot express how sad I am to hear this, but it is certainly mixed with happiness that it’s being caused by your time being profitably spent. Believe me, I know all too well how deceptive the brevity of a podcast is.
Sturgeon’s Law has hung by a thread many times, including this very latest episode barely getting made before I got my mojo back — for now — so I understand where you are coming from, man, but I’m still going to miss the show. I always felt somewhat like a proud godfather.
I’d love to hear from you or any of your mates any time. Be well.

Very sorry to here that I won’t be hearing you anytime soon. Certainly one of my top 5 podcasts. (The Rules would be in the top 2). Good luck and I will stay subscribed just incase.

What am I going to do without my daily slice of Australian life?
I guess I knew it was coming after the podcast seemed to fade after the Christmas edition.
I hope you are still meeting up with the gang every morning - it’s just a shame that we can no longer listen in to your conversations.
Good luck with the new venture.

It’s been grand and glorious. Somehow we’ll soldier on without the great insights, jokes, thoughts, pondering and banter of the ILV gang at the Honolulu Grill. But the world may feel a little dimmer for a while.
It is wonderful that you are taking your fancy ergonomic chair and fabulous broadcasting tonsils to a broader audience. And one that will pay you for your cleverness. Hurrah I say. Hurrah.
A loyal fanbase will await you whenever you might pop back to entertain, challenge and amuse us all.
