					<description>I find it impossible to listen to these podcasts without wanting to continue the conversation or at least put in my two cents.

I am of the mind that there are a number of older folks who are racists, but change is always possible (unless, of course, dementia has set in).  They may have grown up in a different world than we have but like it or not, they live in the same world with us now.  I had better be careful or I'll sound like an ageist before too long!

Regardless of what one thinks, though, I think it is important to let older loved ones know of a difference of opinion.  Not only is it almost lying by omission, it could give them the opinion that you agree or at least condone such behaviour.
