Not on our show, but Dan Klass is back with a new episode of The Bitterest Pill and it was worth the wait. I’ve read so many book reviews where the reviewer has said s/he laughed out loud on the bus or train that I began to think either reviewers only read funny books on public transport or, more likely, they’ve only got one way of saying, “This is really funny”. That said: I laughed out loud at #82 on the bus this morning. It’s a classic.
This week we’re going to be asking you to let us know which guests you’d like to hear back on the show. I want to have all of them back but I’m particuarly keen to have Dan on again because we talked over him mercilessly and it’s embarrassing. This time we could give him a better experience so he doesn’t think we’re complete clods. Honestly, Dan, we’ve got our act together much more now. And we want to know about the woman you fooled into bed on the pretext of your being Australian…
Anyway, let us know what you think, and I’ll be going cap-in-hand to Dan to ask forgiveness and a second chance.

In Trent’s defense, he is a very macho man– practically bleeds machismo, and he didn’t want Steven to feel emasculated by mentioning his accent in addition to Rhylla’s.
Plus, with Steven brimming with machismo himself (I have no such qualms over referring to another man’s machismo) Trent felt that Steven was already aware of his superlative accent.
Disaster averted.

I’d love to hear more from Dan! I didn’t like to say before, but you’re right, you did talk over him rather a lot
Also, I’d like to hear how Rhylla’s friends are enjoying married life.
And finally, I’m loving the manners cast guest spots…
